 Our Mission Statement

The mission of the Roosevelt High School library media program is to promote literacy and ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. The school library exists to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information. Our primary purpose is to support the academic and personal development of lifelong learners and enlivened, engaged citizens. In addition, we posit the library as the vital literary arts center of the school.

NEWS AND EVENTS

Verselandia Report:

Both of our poets, Eleanor Black & Aili Deibert, performed quite magnificently.
Aili advanced to the second round, but sadly, was not among the top five winners.
There was stiff competition. McDaniel poets came in 1st & 3rd and Jefferson, 2nd.
Please give all praise to our poets, and the alternate, Ayla Power, when you see them.
